Social Insurance Numbers
The Nova Scotia Government introduced new restrictions on private companies collecting and retaining social insurance numbers as part of their Bill 127 introduced September 23.
When enacted: No person shall, in the course of commercial activities, request or collect an individual’s Social Insurance Number.
