HRM releases draft 2026–27 operating and capital budget plans
Halifax Regional Municipality has released its draft 2026–27 Budget and Business Plan along with the draft 2026–27 Capital Budget, outlining proposed operating priorities, capital investments, and funding assumptions for the upcoming fiscal year. From a multi-unit residential perspective, the draft documents provide early insight into potential tax, infrastructure, and service cost pressures that may affect rental housing providers as the budget process moves forward.
